Here is just a small list of things to do and days out within a short distance of the cottage: In the cottage are a large number of suggested attractions. Here are some of the favourites.

bulletTHE DEEP - The worlds only submarium. The Deep is one of the deepest aquariums in the world and has to be seen to be believed.

The Deep tells the story of the world's oceans, from the Big Bang to present day and into the future. Stunning aquatic exhibits. including a ten metre deep tank with the world's deepest tunnel, are complemented by the next generation of interactives. Visitors can journey from the shallows of a coral lagoon to the inky depths of the abyssal plain and from equatorial tropics to frozen poles.

This is an essential day out visit - www.thedeep.co.uk

bulletSkidby Mill - The Museum of East Riding Rural Life with a working Pole Windmill. Believed to be the only working mill of its kind north of the river Humber.

                               North Yorkshire Heritage Coast

bulletThe Heritage Coast -  Where the scenery is dramatically different - white craggy chalk cliffs with crashing waves pounding at their feet are interspersed by calm, sheltered coves. Caves, arches and stacks have been carved out of the cliffs by the constant pounding of the great North Sea. Bridlington is just half an hour from the cottage by car.
bulletEast End Cottage is mere 3 minute drive from historic Beverley racecourse. York, Wetherby and Doncaster races are 40 -60 minutes by car. Book early for our popular race weekend breaks!
